Our almond robijins are flowering well end February 2026. Keeping fingers crossed they will go on to produce almonds as last year.
Our semi-perennial St John’s rye crop is now germinated and growing well. We hope to harvest it later in the year.
We have almost completed our barn which will enable us to store machinery out of the rain, future crops, and also provide somewhere for people working to have a cup of tea. Up until now we have had to store most tools in the hedge to complete much of the work to date.
Next to go up is the first of two polytunnels to help us to bring on new plants from some of the successful trees and shrubs planted.
Our Garlic trials of five different french varieties are coming along nicely, despite the daily rainfall since the beginning of January 2026 (photo taken 26 Feb)
